Bouncing in our Hearts

There’s this boy I knew who was full of beans
He bounced around like he had Tigger genes
He couldn’t sit still – so many places to be
If you look in your heart, he is there, you will see.
He’d be on the golf course, practising his game
As thrashing the boys was always the aim
Or in the kitchen, making pasta sauce
With lashings of garlic, chopped like almonds of course!
If he was in the garden, he’d preen the lawn
Then have a bar-be and we’d chat ‘til dawn
If he had a moment, the x-box would be out
And he’d play it for hours without a doubt.
He loved being with people special to his life
His family and friends, mainly his son and wife
Although he’s not here, we want him to know
That his bounce will be with us wherever we go.
Love always
