What was my daddy like? Rebecca Smith Kind, caring, funny and truly in love with your mummy xx Sarah Marley BBQ king, always wore PJ's in the house, great cook, delighted when you were born, a true friend, handsome, loved to play golf with his friends, DIY king, funny, heart of gold, reliable and still very much missed by his friends. Xx Vikki Evans I only knew Paulo for a little time but he was one of one of the friendliest people I knew and was a lot of fun to be around. He was also very good looking! Gail Lambert Well I can't pretend to have known him well, we only met a few times but a lovely man, very handsome and his mummy was a very lucky lady! X Lezanne New He would do anything for anyone, loved cooking with flaked almonds or should I say garlic, was sometimes a little firey especially about towels or lack of them, fed squirrels! Haha we did have a laugh, x Jolyon New As my wife says he would do anything for anyone (she's always right!) but on top of that he would put himself out for anyone. He wanted people to like him and be part of the crowd. He was genuine, kind and loved fun. He loved Ali and some would argue he loved golf more. (Alot of wives would question the same of their husbands!). He was so excited about his new family and the future. He had so many plans for T and how having a family/children wouldn't slow him down from playing golf & X-box. I will always remember him as being so full of life, that's why its hard for me to think of him as gone. Chocolate cake too! BIG chocolate cakes! Peace be with you P Diddy. Simon Marley My memory of Paulo comes in 3 stages: Stage 1 - The when we first met stage: ....Wow, who brought that melon along, Mr im from London, im this, im that blah blah blah blah blah - who does he think he is hanging out with me an my mates, what a numpty. Stage 2: The 'he's not so bad now im getting to know him better stage:' After he finally calmed down, stopped trying too hard to fit in and a few trips to Banbury later the real Paulo started to come out. He turned out to be a normal everyday likeable fella. In fact it turned out to be very difficult not to like him, as many have said above, he would do anything for you and expect nothing in return. A thoroughly nice chap. Stage 3: 'The close friend stage' - It didn't take long for Paulo and I to become close friends, funny considering my first impressions of him. I liked him because he was normal, of course helpful and caring and all that fluffy stuff but he was also a bit of a geezer, a bit wee a bit woo a bit tasty! He liked to have fun, we would go out have a giggle and a few pints, go play golf, play xbox, whatever, it doesn't sound amazing but that's what we did and we always had fun. He was very competitive, didn't like to loose at anything, could be miserable too at times (I mean who leaves their own stag doo in a huff! - that was funny!!!) but put it all together and you get Mr P Diddy Dos Santos - My Friend. Tiago, your dad was a legend. I miss him dearly. Lisa Fantasia Paulo was spontaneous and full of life. He would do anything for you - including drive out in his pyjamas to rescue you from a petrol station after you'd put diesel in a petrol car. If he couldn't find something he would buy it again (3 circular saws later) He was stubborn and petulant and he scared most Sky employees with his temper. He made the best tiramisu I have ever tasted to date and burned down many a tree top with his legendary pyrotechnic firework displays. He had lots of friends and was lots of fun - just like you Tiago ️ Sarah Clifford T your Daddy had a wickedly cheeky grin like you and was passionately loyal to his friends. All the things his close friends have said shows that 7 years on he is remembered so clearly because he made a huge impression and liked a tipple with his mates xx Francisco Serafim The best friend anyone could have. Loyal, protective, fun, caring, spontaneous, hard working, hated loosing. Great fighter. Loved Costa da Caparica. Stood by me when I was at my lowest. Helped me when I needed strength and support. Loved him as a brother. Miss him now and always. X There's lots more I want to say but at this moment getting the plane at Lisbon. I will save it when I see Tiago again and tell him what a great father he had. Shelagh Trower I am sorry I never had a chance to meet this very special man but circumstances been different I wouldn't have had you and Tiago in my life and I can't imagine that . Yes he looks a very good looking man from his photos but T you are bloomin gorgeous xx
